My name is Ann Stewart and like you, I’ve been there and done that. For a long time, I lived with chronic illness and one of the side effects of the many medications I was on, was weight gain.
Due to a major life catalyst, I undertook a long path of spiritual awakening and worked with some of the best spiritual teachers in the world. Dr Wayne Dyer was particularly pivotal in the changes that I made and today thought his body has left this world, he continues to be a constant inspiration in my life. I also undertook many personal development courses with incredible teachers and leaders such as Dr Deepak Chopra, Dr Eben Alexander, Dr Bruce Lipton, Anita Moorjani, Carolyn Myss, Nick Otter, Cheryl Richardson, and many others and this eventually led me to examine the way I was living my life. Step by step, I started to really examine different aspects of my life with a strong focus on self-care and nutrition. I had believed that I had always eaten well as I did not like junk food but the reality was, that it was the food that I was eating that was making me sick and after undertaking a spiritual and physical detox, I started to feel well for the first-time in my adult life.
All of the life-long medical problems disappeared and I began to enjoy vibrant health and vitality. I stopped taking all medication and my body repaired itself in a way that I could never have dreamed was possible. A great added bonus, was that my skin glowed and my hair became extra healthy because my body was repairing itself at a cellular level. My bones have also dramatically increased in density through making changes in my diet (something doctors told me could only be done through medication, all of which had serious side affects).
It was an “ah hah” moment where I realized that there is such a strong link between nutrition and wellness and that led me to undertake studies in nutrition as well as to read widely on the topic. I realized that there is too much emphasis on sick care and not wellness care and prevention of illness (something that is so easy to achieve with good nutrition). My previous career as a teacher compliments the work that I now do as a Certified Integrative Nutrition and Wellness Coach.

WILL I BE STARVING?
Not at all! You have heaps of recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there is room for snacks in between. Every meal is delicious and created by both myself and a fabulous chef to nourish your body from the inside out. I don’t believe in diets. Diets don’t work! Therefore, this is not about starvation or deprivation, and we are not counting kilojoules or calories or dwelling on carbs. You will feel satisfied with every bite. If you do get hungry, there are extra snack recipes included! And there is even dessert! That’s right dessert!
CAN I DO THIS IF I’M BREASTFEEDING OR PREGNANT?
Absolutely! However, if you are breastfeeding, I suggest that you add at least 100 – 150 grams of protein at lunch and dinner, boost your morning smoothie with a scoop of hemp or pea protein, and eat snacks in between meals. Make sure you are consuming extra fat and drinking enough liquids.
CAN I STILL WORKOUT DURING THE PROGRAM?
Yes! If you feel tired or have low energy, exercising restores both strength and energy. During this program, you will be eating protein and drinking plenty of liquids, so if you’re already exercising, there’s no reason to stop! It is important to remember that whenever you change the foods you eat your body changes as well. Please consult with your doctor if you have any specific concerns about your health.
WILL I FEEL WEAK DURING THE PROGRAM?
No, quite the opposite! You are going to feel so strong and energized it will amaze you! In the beginning, your body may go through a “healing phase” to re-balance and let go of toxicity. This is normal and usually lasts 1 – 3 days. After that, you will be energised and full of renewed vitality. It is important to listen to your body through this program, and I will be here to support you with that. I will guide you step by step through exactly what can be done to reduce any unwanted symptoms that may appear. This program is completely flexible for figuring out what works for YOU!
WHAT SORT OF PROTEINS WILL I BE EATING?
Even though I am a vegetarian, I respect that it is not for everyone. Therefore, I engaged a chef to create recipes for animal-based proteins. You will have the option for plant or animal-based proteins, which will be listed out for you in your recipes and suggested meals. There are so many “clean eating protein sources” to choose from you won’t get bored with your options! As an added bonus, you can buy both options for one low price.
I DON’T EAT GLUTEN OR DAIRY. HOW CAN THIS PROGRAM HELP ME?
I’ve got you covered! Gluten, diary and refined sugars are not part of the program but don’t worry, there are plenty of delicious yummy recipes to help you switch to this option for those of you who are not yet gluten-free. It is important to eliminate gluten during the program as it is a major source of oxidation and it will give your digestive system time to rest and reset, which can be helpful for anyone regardless of their current eating habits.
AM I ONLY GOING TO BE DRINKING JUICES AND SMOOTHIES?
No way! Who would want 14 days of just smoothies and juices? While there are some juices and smoothies for you to choose from, you will also be eating salads, soups, and mains that are delicious, nutritious, and will eliminate toxins in your body in a safe and natural way.
DO I HAVE TO TAKE SUPPLEMENTS AND POWDERS?
No!! The only supplement I recommend that everyone take on a daily basis is a probiotic, and you’ll learn why in this program.
