I had tried multiple eating plans over the years. All of them worked to some extent, but I lost interest and always regressed, as they relied on ongoing purchases of pre-prepared food or endless calorie counting. Ultimately, laziness and boredom got the better of me and I fell back into old habits and re-gained the weight. What I most wanted support with when I decided to work with Ann, was to finally replace those bad habits with healthier ones, to be accountable and to see results that I would be able to maintain independently in the long-term. My overall goal was not really to lose weight, but rather to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

I attended a free seminar run by Ann Stewart at my local Chiropractor’s Office. Something “clicked” as she spoke about how she had overcome her own health challenges through diet changes, and I realised that not only was it possible for me to also still make achievable positive changes in my health, but that it would be irresponsible not to.

I had never worked with a Coach before, so had no real idea of what to expect. To be honest, I did assume that the “coaching” side of it was something I would not really need and could talk my way around. I knew that my habits were probably unsatisfactory, but I figured that I wasn’t really doing too badly … until I did the health survey. Then I assumed I would be in for a “blasting” from a Coach. This didn’t happen. What I got was straight talk, but an assurance that a better balance could be achieved. To my surprise, the coaching sessions were very beneficial and not judgmental. They kept me on track and accountable for my actions, and were probably the reason

I ultimately succeeded with the program.

I learned:
• I had no idea how good I could feel.
• There is a link between the types of food I eat and the way my body reacts to that.
• I’m not too old to make changes.
• It was surprisingly easy and effective – I would recommend it to anyone.
• I wish I had done this years ago!
